Now okay... even i can agree that the city becomes quite the disaster every year around late May thanks to the annual Bay to Breakers street race. But completely banning alcohol will cause the race to NEVER be the same. Will the race be less fun? yes. Will property owners be happier knowing that they wont have to yell at people to stop pissing on their doorstep? yes. Its a tough call but i say keep the race the way it is. High pressure water hoses can solve all our problems here. Who's to say how the crowd will react to this ban for next years 100th Bay to Breakers.
